KINGOOOD Premium Selection Store Manager Training Course | In-depth Interpretation of “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”

Seizing the grand momentum to open a new chapter. On June 12th, members of the KINGOOOD Premium Selection Store Manager Training Course gathered at the headquarters to listen to a special guest speaker’s in-depth analysis and explanation of “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”. This course aims to help reserve store managers enhance management efficiency and optimize professional qualities. With foresight, plan for the most far-reaching development; with steadfast action, fulfill the most diligent responsibilities.

Before the official start of the course, the host announced the Learning Charter and PK Gold rules to all members present. This training program specially established four major study groups, assessing them through a points system to stimulate everyone’s enthusiasm for learning and team collaboration spirit.

With his profound academic background and rich management experience, the lecturer provided an in-depth analysis of “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”. Starting from real-life cases and combining the developmental journey of KINGOOOD, he vividly explained the importance and application techniques of these seven habits in management practice.

Under the guidance of the lecturer, members of the four study groups actively engaged in interactions, creating a warm and lively classroom atmosphere. Everyone not only improved through learning but also sparked new ideas through interactive exchanges. Every member present demonstrated a high level of enthusiasm for learning and team collaboration spirit.

Habit 1: Be Proactive

The first principle of “Be Proactive”: You always have the freedom to choose. Being proactive enables a person to gradually become a leader because such individuals tend to focus on matters within their circle of influence, do not waste time on things beyond it, and are the first to take action and find solutions when problems arise.

Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind

We can write a personal mission statement, carefully planning our future and the life we aspire to. The way to make it effective is to determine what kind of person we want to become and what personal and moral standards we need to follow to achieve it. A personal mission statement should come from our circle of influence. We should focus on areas in our lives that we want to improve and have the ability to improve.

Habit 3: Put First Things First

Prioritizing important matters can make our daily lives more efficient. Distinguishing priorities and cultivating organizational skills are the essence of time management. Through the four-quadrant time management matrix (Quadrant 1: Important and Urgent; Quadrant 2: Important but Not Urgent; Quadrant 3: Not Important but Urgent; Quadrant 4: Not Important and Not Urgent), highly effective people should focus more on Quadrant 2 activities, as it includes learning, building relationships, physical health, self-development, and so on.

Habit 4: Think Win-Win

Highly effective people always habitually seek win-win outcomes. They view life as a field of cooperation rather than an arena of competition. They understand how to achieve mutual benefit and satisfaction. Between “I win, you lose” or “I lose, you win,” there is often a win-win situation where both parties profit, and we can work together with the other party to come up with solutions.

Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood

“Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood” is the choice of empathetic communication. First, strive to understand the other person, then seek to be understood yourself. Only when we genuinely try to understand others can we find creative solutions.

Habit 6: Synergize

“Synergize” is a habit about teamwork, emphasizing that 1+1>2. In a highly effective team, everyone is open-minded and accepts each other’s differences. Ultimately, all parties can achieve what they want and build strong relationships.

Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw

Focus on continuous renewal to become a better version of yourself. Spend more time improving our physical, spiritual, mental, and social-emotional well-being, making ourselves stronger to face future challenges.

The 7 Habits are inside-out and interdependent, so the lecturer suggested that when first practicing them, there’s no need to force oneself to master all at once. You can start with the personal habits, and after gradually mastering them, you will naturally grasp the latter three habits, followed by continuous self-iteration and renewal.

After the course concluded, following strict assessments and evaluations, the overall scores of each group were announced one by one. Ultimately, Group 1 claimed the top spot with their outstanding performance and exceptional team collaboration skills, earning the honor of first place in total group points. Group 4 ranked second, and Group 2 secured third place. Members of the top three groups also went on stage to receive their awards, bringing the on-site atmosphere to a climax.

With the joint efforts of all members, this store manager training program was successfully concluded. Through this training, the reserve store managers not only deepened their understanding of “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” but also further enhanced their management skills and team collaboration levels. It is believed that in future work, they will better apply the knowledge they’ve acquired and contribute more strength to the development of KINGOOOD!
